Beaver Full Moon

The full moon in November is known as the Beaver Moon, and this November it is a Supermoon which reachs its peak illumination on Friday, November 15th.

The Beaver Moon's name comes from the traditions of the ancient people of the northern hemisphere when they observed that the beavers became especially active at this time of year, building their dams and shelters to get ready for the winter hibernation period.  The full moon was also helpful to hunters setting traps to ensure a good supply of furs for the winter.

In modern times let's keep in mind that a full moon is an ideal time to reflect, set an intention and take action to make it real.
